The Centre is located at: Claro Park, Harrogate, North Yorks HG1 4BB

Access to the centre can be gained by progressing to the very end of Claro Park and entering through the large double gates. The location is provided on Google maps.

The Company

Harrogate Spa Tennis Centre Limited has been established to facilitate the upgrade, modernisation and continuance of the Spa Tennis Club formed in 1947. In the process the nature of the club has changed from a Community Amateur Sports Club to a private company limited by guarantee which is also a registered charity.

The centre has established a leasehold and ‘partnership’ arrangement with Harrogate High School whose pupils will have managed access to the centre’s facilities for coaching in tennis.

The centre is managed by a company board with the following current members:

LTA Registration & Tennismark  The Harrogate Spa Tennis Centre is a registered venue with the LTA. The centre has achieved the LTA’s Tennismark accreditation from the outset which recognises that a venue provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for the pursuit of tennis, being the ‘tennis version’ of Sport England’s best practice accreditation scheme, Clubmark, established in 2006. As part of the Tennismark qualification the centre is obliged to maintain a range of safeguarding and associated policies and guidelines. A copy can be found here.
